The NIS2 Directive

 
The NIS2 Directive - an amendment to the first European law concerning the cybersecurity of Member States of the European Union, as well as entities operating within the EU. It applies to those entities that are critical to the security of networks and information systems. It introduces an obligation to report events threatening cybersecurity within the European Union. Its main goal is to increase the resilience of the digital services sector to cyber threats. It also introduces requirements for risk management, incident reporting, and cooperation between Member States.
