The DSA Regulation

The DSA - Digital Services Act, in recent years, has become one of the most important regulations in the internet industry. It is colloquially referred to as the constitution of the internet. This is a legal act of the European Union that imposes responsibility on digital companies across the EU for the content posted on their platforms. The aim of this law is to create a safer online environment. It applies to internet companies that provide intermediary services and give users access to content, products, and services (social media platforms, content-sharing platforms, or e-commerce platforms). The regulation came into force on February 17, 2024.
